New product chief at SurveyMonkey

US – Survey platform SurveyMonkey has appointed former Amazon Web Services product leader Meera Vaidyanathan as chief product officer.

Vaidyanathan (pictured) will lead product strategy and innovation. She is tasked with leading a customer-centric approach to product development and ensuring that SurveyMonkey offers depth and ease for those creating surveys and forms.

Based in Palo Alto, Vaidyanathan was previously global vice-president of product management and design at Twilio, and prior to that was a director of product management at Amazon Web Services.

She will be part of SurveyMonkey’s leadership team.

Eric Johnson, chief executive at SurveyMonkey, described Vaidyanathan as a “transformative product leader”, and added: “Her proven success translating AI innovation into real-world value gives me the utmost confidence that she will help us meet the moment.”

Vaidyanathan said: “With strong momentum and enormous potential in AI, there’s never been a better time to step into a leadership role at SurveyMonkey.”
